A new patent Suggest the Samsung Galaxy S9 may feature front-facing fingerprint sensor
Samsung Galaxy S9 is something to look for as it has the potential for becoming the next most successful device from Samsung after the Galaxy Note 8 success.
According to the latest patent filed by the South Korean company suggests the next-gen Galaxy S series of devices may come with a fingerprint sensor on the front.
Samsung may include a round button at the bottom similar to Apple iPhone have but moreover it will be small which will work as a fingerprint scanner.
Although, the patent is year old, filed back in April 2016, but likely to implanted with next year Samsung Galaxy S9. This has been done because the Galaxy S8 rear-mounted fingerprint scanner beside camera didn’t impress many and additional is prone to attract smudges on the camera lens.
Samsung Galaxy S9 likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core SoC with 6GB of RAM. While in some market, it is going to powered by Samsung’s next-gen Exynos chipset, likely to be built on a 10nm process.
