Disney wants to acquire ‘Dragon Ball-Z’ Rights from Fox

Recently, Disney and Fox’s merger had confirmed that Disney has purchased the assets of 21st Century Fox’s film and TV divisions with likes of X-Men, Deadpool, and Fantastic Four now comes under Disney Banner, But there something more than these superheroes shows and movie as Disney is keenly interested to buy ‘Dragon Ball-Z’ Rights.

If you don’t know, “the Dragon Ball-Z” is the property of 20th Century Fox and in the past, it has produced the a live-action movie called Dragonball Evolution but it failed to do the miracles but the Fox legacy was carried by Anime films like Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.

Disney still keeping this deal under the cloak of secrecy but as per the report, In this deal Fox will retain its Fox New Channel, Fox Broadcasting, and several sports channels. Disney will acquire their film and TV assets as well as Fox’s 30% stake in Hulu. But it seems that Dragon Ball-Z rights are safe with Fox



Disney could work its magic which Fox has failed to do so long as Fox’s film rights exist in perpetuity. Well Disney priority will be expansion and inclusion in Marvel Cinematic World than eyeing on Dragon Ball Z, Disney has shed nearly $60 billion for this Fox Deal
