Samsung Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ is now official with Dual Front-Facing Cameras & Infinity Display

Samsung finally launched its Galaxy A Duos dubbed as Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ well, in reality, these are the successors to the Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017). Both the Galaxy A8 takes the cue from its big brother Galaxy S8.

The Galaxy A8 comes with Infinity Display and also it’s IP 68 rated for water and dust resistant just like Galaxy S8. It is one of Kind Smartphone from Samsung dual front-facing cameras never seen before in any Samsung Smartphone previously.

The Galaxy A8 is a Smaller Variants with 5.6inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED (2220 x 1080) display and 18.5:9 aspect ratios. It comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB Internal storage – In two variants. It supports 3,000mAh battery,

While on other hands Galaxy A8+ is tall and big with 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED (2220 x 1080) 18:9 Infinite display. It also comes in two Variants 4GB/6GB of Ram and 32GB/64GB Internal storage but you can also add micro sd card up to 256GB. The bigger one needs a bigger battery so it is fitted with 3,500mAh battery.

Both the smartphones are powered by an octa-core processor with two cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six cores clocked at 1.6GHz. Its also support Gear VR first in A series.

As per the camera is concerned, the main camera has been upgraded with a brighter f/1.7 aperture for the 16MP sensor with Digital stabilization making it perfect companion for night shots. The most talkative part is the Samsung’s first dual selfie camera present on Galaxy A8 – a 16MP + 8MP combo both features a f/1.9 aperture while secondary sensor works for Bokeh effects.

Other feature includes, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ will go on sale from January 2018. There still no news about its pricing but we believe it could be priced close to Rs 24,000 ($363) but then it’s just a wild guess.
