The second-generation Nokia 6 comes with a better processor and on-screen buttons
HMD had launched the second generation of the Nokia 6 in China and lot have changed since the first generation. Nokia 6 comes with bigger changes-than-you’d-expect and with modern design. We can say that Nokia 6 is a great combination of Specs and price although the price remains same as the first generation.
Nokia 6 has taken a big leap in terms of Qualcomm’s SoC processor from a low-end Snapdragon 430 to a more mid-range Snapdragon 630. The new Nokia 6 has been upgraded from micro USB to the newer, reversible USB-C standard.
It stills a 5.5-inch, 1080p IPS LCD and there is no 18:9 Display through the edges became thicker and the capacitive button has been exempted for on-screen buttons. Along with the Qualcomm’s 630 SoC processor, you get an extra bit of 4GB Ram and 32GB / 64GB storage with MicroSD slot with expansion.
As per camera specs, it same as last year a 16MP, 1.0µm, f/2, rear camera and an 8MP 1.12µm, f/2, front camera. It ships with Android Nougat 7.1.1, with support for Android Oreo to come later on.
The modern Nokia 6 comes with the fingerprint scanner at the back side, the same 3,000mAH battery can be found underneath it. The new Nokia 6 is currently available for pre-order for ¥1,499 in China (about $230) for the base variant, as per now, there are no details about Nokia 6 going Global.
