Xiaomi Might Partner to Sell Mi Smart TVs Via Offline Stores with the help of Jio in India
If we talk about the most anticipating thing of this world for which a whole country is keenly waiting for it to happen on some fine day is the “Mi TV” and soon Xiaomi could cut the wait in half and introduce its wide range of “Mi TV” series in India with the help of Jio.
According to the latest reports, Xiaomi and Reliance Jio are discussing a possible partnership for selling the Xiaomi branded smartphones and smart TVs in the Indian offline market. Xiaomi didn’t think of Introducing its Smart TV range in India before several factors like high import taxes, distribution, etc.
If it is true and the deal goes through, then Xiaomi could sell its Xiaomi devices as well as Mi Smart TV in the Jio and Reliance Digital stores spread across the country exclusively. Although the company is selling its smartphones via Mi Home stores and Mi Preferred Partners but with this step, Xiaomi could also focus those areas where they still not have any presence like states as Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, and North India etc.
Well, there is no doubt that first TV that will be launch from Mi TV Portfolio will be the inexpensive latest 32-inch Mi TV 4A. Mi TV 4A has a screen resolution of 1366×768 pixels and has a refresh rate of 60Hz. The Mi TV 4A runs a quad-core Cortex-A53 Amlogic T962 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and has Mali-450 MP3 GPU for graphics. The smart TV also has 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory and it cost just Rs 10,000.
The Icing on the cake is that Reliance Jio is also planning to bundle the Mi Smart TVs with the Jio Fiber broadband services so you can stream your favorite Online streaming network likes Netflix, Hotstar, etc. Let’s wait for the official launch to happen in the coming months.
