Best Buy Bid Farewell to Huawei Smartphone, leaving it with zero US retail partners
It looks like from now on tough time for Huawei has started. Best Buy is soon going to end sales of Huawei smartphones most probably in weeks. Best Buy retailer no longer be ordering any new products to sell in the U.S markets.
In a media response, Best Buy spokesperson said, “We don’t comment on specific contracts with vendors, and we make decisions to change what we sell for a variety of reasons.”
There is no confirmation made this decision for Best Buy but as Expert believes that it is the same reason behind the AT&T and Verizon cancellation of the deal to sell flagship devices from the brand – its all related to politics as the U.S Government things that the Huawei devices would be a security risk to the U.S. consumer. Huawei has been accused of spying on U.S Consumers and sell their users data to China.
Best Buy is one of Huawei’s biggest retail partners in the U.S and moreover a physical retail store where people can experience Huawei Smartphone and buy it. So overall, it is a major blow to Huawei
