The new Redmi 5 budget smartphone from Xiaomi going to replace Redmi 4 in Indian Market
Xiaomi today had unwrapped the covers from New Redmi 5, the new budget smartphone from Xiaomi going to replace Redmi 4 in Indian Market. Manu Kumar Jain revealed the New Redmi 5 via live stream on their official Facebook page.
Originally it is the first smartphone in the Redmi series to feature a tall 18:9 display and on-screen buttons. The Device sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 282ppi pixel density.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC with leading 14nm FINFET technology, coupled with 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB of RAM and 16GB/ 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage.
As per the photography, it is equipped with 12MP camera with a large 1.25µm pixel sensor and single LED flash. While you get 5MP front-facing camera features beautify, with a soft LED flash.
It packs with 3300mAh battery and has fingerprint sensor at the back. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with MIUI 9 on top. It’s has a Hybrid-Sim slot with 4G Volte calling.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 will be available in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Lake Blue colors. The Redmi 5 2GB RAM, 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 7,999, Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999 respectively and will exclusive on Amazon.in, Mi.com from March 20th.
