Google is done with the original Pixel and Pixel XL. The Pixel and Pixel XL have both been removed from the Google Store and the Project Fi store, suggesting the end of original Pixel journey.

Google original Pixel and Pixel XL launched in October 2016 and then comes the successor the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL launched last year and from that time Pixel 2016 got discounts of $80 to $100 and now soon they are going to be extent.

Now when search for the 2016 Pixels on Google Store it redirects to another page with just two links — Pixel 2 and accessories for the Pixel 2.

“Some third-party retailers are still selling the phone, though we’re not sure how much longer that will last. Currently, Amazon is selling both new and refurbished versions of the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL,” Google confirmed this to Digital Trends.

Well If you are an original Pixel phone owner, major updates should still arrive until October 2018, while security updates will last a year longer, until October 2019. Google is set to launch Pixel 3 in 2018.
