The New MIUI 9.5 update brings iPhone X-like gesture navigation which eliminates the on-screen navigation buttons to give you full screen display experience.
The iPhone X-like gesture navigation brings in the feature like – swiping from the bottom of the screen closes the app, swiping from bottom to the center and pausing brings up the app switcher, and so on.
The New iPhone X-like gesture navigation is applicable for all Xiaomi Smartphone that come with a full screen 18:9 display like – Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi 5, and the Mi MIX 2 for now.
How to setup gesture navigation on Xiaomi Smartphone
- Make sure you are running latest MIUI 9.5 update on your Xiaomi Smartphone
- Then Go to Settings -> Full screen display, and under System Navigation, select “Full screen gestures”.
