Xiaomi Mi 6X comes with upgraded Dual Camera with AI technology to capture perfect shots
Xiaomi finally unwrapped its new mid-range Smartphone beast at an event in China named as Mi 6X. It is the Successor of Mi 5X which was launched in India as a Mi A1 the only difference in both of them was the Mi 5X in China ran on Android OS with MIUI skin on top while Mi A1 ran on stock Android One OS.
The Xaomi Mi 6X has achieved the thickness of 7.3mm, and weighs about 166 grams. The back has a smooth curved Metal finish. It features IR Blaster but misses out 3.5mm jack.
The Mi 6X flaunts a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC. Xiaomi says the chipset offers 20 percent better performance compared to the Snapdragon 636 SoC. It comes with three storage variants – 4+64GB/6+64GB/6+128GB of Ram & Storage.
As per photography, It comes with dual cameras at the back, a 20-megapixel primary sensor with aperture f/1.75 and pixel size of 2um, and a 12-megapixel secondary Sony IMX486 sensor of aperture f/1.75 with pixel size 1.25um. Xiaomi Mi 6X comes with AI intelligence and can identify from 206 different scenes. At the front you get a 20-megapixel camera with Sony IMX376 sensor with soft light LED flash.
The smartphone comes with a 3,010mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 and you’ll find the 18W fast charger inside the box. At the bottom, you have the USB Type-C port flanked by Dual speaker grill. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, with MIUI 9.5 skin on top.
The Pricing of Xiaomi Mi 6X starts from Rs 16,000 for Standard Variant and goes to Rs 21,000 for higher Version. It may debut in India as Mi A2 in Mid-June.
