Xiaomi Redmi S2 budget phone with latest Android 8.1 is specially designed for Indian Market.
Xiaomi is preparing a new Range of Redmi Smartphone specially made for India market to be dubbed as “Redmi S2” and to be equipped with an 18:9 screen and a dual camera for the Indian market.
As reported by XDA developers citing leaked firmware files for the device, the Xiaomi Redmi S2 will be marketed in India as a Budget Smartphone.
The Redmi S2 is reported to be 5.7 inch taller with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio and sharper with HD+ resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. To be powered by Xiaomi favorite chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 with 16GB of Storage, there is no amount of RAM mention in the database.
The Redmi S2 is tipped to come with Dual Camera 12MP+5MP camera combo, with EIS, Portrait Mode, while a 5MP camera would take care of the Selfie with Face Unlock feature.
The Device will run on latest Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box, while it will be powered by a 3,080 mAh battery. It could be priced around Rs 9,999 and expect the device Might launch within September period.
