Xiaomi MIUI 10 brings support for full-screen user interface along with AI enhancements and many more new feature


Xiaomi has Introduced the MIUI 10 along with the Mi 8 and Mi Band 3 on the occasion of its 8th Anniversary today in Shenzhen China. The Newest MIUI update will bring lots of changes as well as new features, MIUI 10 is claimed to be smarter and faster compared to MIUI 9.

It is also said that the MIUI 10 will be heavily inspired by the upcoming Android P. MIUI 10 would feature new design changes closely resembling the ones we have seen on Android P. Let’s see What else MIUI 10 has to offer

New Recent Menu


Here Xioami all the way has changed the Recent UI widget now it take advantage of taller screens and gives you a vertically scrolling menu, It also supports full-screen gestures which let users swipe to delete tasks, and long press to get more options. It enables you to see as much as six recent apps on the screen at one time.

AI Powered


Another new feature in MIUI 10 is AI Preload, which the company claims will help reduce load times for apps up to zero, It helps in making MIUI lighter, Xiaomi says MIUI 10 will study your phone behavior and allocate resources accordingly. It also brings single camera bokeh mode to older smartphones like Mi 5 and Mi MIX 2 which have single rear camera.

Smart Home Manager

It also brings a unified interface to control all your smart home devices. The controls for each smart home device are in its respective widget on the home screen itself, it makes easy to access and control each of the devices without opening the Mi Home app. Xiaomi says the interface will be supported by 590 brands.

Driving Mode


The driving mode is another noteworthy addition to MIUI 10, allowing you to conduct voice commands via the Xiao AI voice assistant. Users will be able to easily use maps for navigation and attend phone calls, all with the help of simple voice commands in this mode. This feature available in Chinese-language, so we aren’t expecting it in the global version.

Xiaomi also said MIUI 10 developer ROM will be available to download to over 33 Xiaomi smartphones. The first batch of MIUI 10 will roll out in June and the second batch will get it in July.
