Samsung Galaxy S10 and LG G8 could avoid Notch in favor of full screen display

Apple iPhone X Started the Notch Revolution amongst Android Manufacturer

Galaxy S10 & LG G8

The iPhone X had started the Notch Revolution among Android Smartphone but it got a Mix response from the Audience and buyers thus the devices with Notch are not so successful as compared to iPhone X.

The Notch basically helps to retain the speaker and camera on a device and now the Samsung and LG have found its alternative to the controversial feature.

According to Etnews, Samsung Display and LG Display have developed sound-emitting screens that would remove the requirement of a front-facing speaker. Thus, the cut-out area that supports the speaker — what we’ve come to call the notch — also wouldn’t be necessary.

Instead of the earpiece, the display vibrates to create sound when the device is placed against a person’s ear. The technology is same as Mi Mix and recent launch Vivo Nex. The Selfie camera could pop-out from the Smartphone itself just like Vivo Nex.

According to Industry official, Samsung and LG are aiming to commercialize the technology by early next year on their flagship devices like – Galaxy S10 and LG G8. It’s a pretty good news for the one don’t like a Notch on their Smartphone.
