OnePlus 6T to bring new Oxygen OS with New Navigation Gestures

OnePlus is going to bring new major UI improvement in OxygenOS along with the new OnePlus 6T. OnePlus made this announcement official in the OnePlus forum. The New UI improvement will solve the major problems of OnePlus users.

According to Szymon K (OnePlus software expert), OnePlus gonna bring “a ton of exciting stuff” for the OnePlus 6T, he also revealed that some new features are coming along with the OnePlus 6T.

The major improvement will come in the form of gesture-based navigation, previously OnePlus users have complained about some action not available in the OxygenOS like accessing Google Assistant and quickly switching between two apps but these problems will be resolved with the new OxygenOS and once the OnePlus 6T launches.

With the new UI improvement you can just quickly flick from the bottom of the display towards the right side of your screen and with that, you will be able to access the last app you used and to access the Google Assistant, you can simply hold the power button for 0.5 seconds and it will be activated.

Szymon K. also confirmed that the new gesture-based navigation will be smooth and more responsive than ever. Also, the OxygenOS on the OnePlus 6T will look different from the current build on the OnePlus 6, thanks to the new UI.
