According to Team Poco, Only 0.3% of the units are affected by the light bleed while with other handsets the problem lies with Software – a gradient color that may look like uneven backlighting and the company had promised to remove the gradient in the upcoming MIUI 10 update.

Well, its hard to believe that Xiaomi is blaming the software for the light bleeding issue when this issue mainly occurs due to hardware problems were the bottom part of display start showing odd illumination after increasing brightness in the dark. While we were hoping that Xiaomi would recall all Poco F1 for a screen replacement. Anyway, those 0.3% users which are really affected by light bleeding issue Poco India are encouraging them to visit their nearest service center for the solution.

What you should do?“We would encourage users to walk into any of our 1,000+ service centers and get their Poco F1 examined by an expert if they are facing any irregularities,” the company says in the official statement.

Yet current Poco F1 user who has received the MIUI 10 Global update which hasn’t solved their problem the so-called gradient is still present. Xiaomi might roll another update to resolve it but I don’t think it will make any difference. Do tell us if you are facing the bleeding issue on your Poco F1, drop your views in our comment section
